Asia's Tainted Food |

*Asia's Tainted Food* One of the costs of massive overpopulation would appear to be widespread food adulteration - even where the source of that food is considered a "sacred" animal: "Indians may think twice before gulping down a glass of milk after the country’s food safety regulator found most samples collected in a survey were either diluted or adulterated with products including fertilizer, bleach and detergent. The study, conducted this month by the food safety and standards authority of India, found milk was adulterated with skimmed milk powder and glucose, or, more shockingly, hydrogen peroxide, urea and detergent. Hydrogen peroxide is used in bleach, while urea is commonly used in fertilizer.[image: Asia's Tainted Food-asian-food-slop.jpg]<http://www.whitenewsnow.com/attachments/paul-fromms-cafe/510d1345183591-asias-tainted-food-asian-food-slop.jpg> 'Consumption of milk with detergent may cause health hazards and indicates lack of hygiene and sanitation in the milk handling,' the regulator said in a report. 'Addition of water not only reduces the nutritional value of milk but contaminated water may also pose health risks.' A health ministry official declined to comment on the report. India has long struggled with adulteration of food and milk by unscrupulous traders. Almost 70 per cent of the 1,791 samples taken nationwide were contaminated or watered down, according to the report. Out of 33 Indian states, non-fat adulterants were found in all the milk samples from West Bengal, Orissa and Jharkhand. This adds to concern about West Bengal’s faltering health and safety standards. In December, an adulterated batch of bootleg liquor killed at least 125 drinkers in the eastern state. The deaths came a few days after a hospital fire killed 93 people in the state’s capital Kolkata. New Delhi fared worse than most states, with as many as 70 per cent of the samples tainted. The western state of Goa and eastern state of Puducherry conformed to the standards, with no indication of adulteration in their milk." Political Correctness & the London Olympics |

If you're seeing this version, your email program prefers plain text emails. You can read the original version online: http://ymlp228.net/zD2Gsh -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Political Correctness & the London Olympics Be sure to see these Olympic stories, including especially the short video at the bottom on the opening ceremonies of the 1936 Games in Berlin. Contrast the cheap, tacky, tasteless commercialism, glitz and political correctness of this year’s production with the classic dignity and good taste of those earlier games, immortalized in Leni Riefenstahl’s incomparable documentary, Olympiade/Olympia. First Voula Papachristou , a Greek triple jumper, was banished from the Greek Olympic team for a remark critical of the African invasion of Greece. Pathetic Greece may be mired in debt, hopelessly corrupt and mismanaged but its traitorous establishment bans an athlete for tweeting her views on immigration. "The Greek triple jumper expelled from London 2012 after she made a racist remark on Twitter says she has been left "very bitter and upset,' admitting: 'I am trying to stay calm, otherwise I would lose control.' Voula Papachristou, 23, was removed from the Greek Olympic team on Wednesday after causing uproar with the tweet about the widely reported appearance of Nile-virus-carrying mosquitoes in Athens. She wrote: "With so many Africans in Greece, at least the mosquitoes of West Nile will eat homemade food." She subsequently deleted the message." (The Guardian, August 8, 2012) Greek triple jumper banned from Olympics over 'racist' remark http://theneworder.org/news/2012/08/greek-triple-jumper-banned-from-olympics-over-'racist'-remark/ ( http://theneworder.org/news/2012/08/greek-triple-jumper-banned-from-olympics-over- ) Even more outrageous was the fate of blonde blue-eyed German rower Nadja Drygalla. Her sin wasn't anything she'd said but the nationalist politics of her boyfriend who was a member of the perfectly legal NPD (National Democratic Party) in Germany. "The German rower Nadja Drygalla has left the Olympic village following media allegations that her boyfriend is a far-right extremist. The German Olympic Committee said Drygalla, who had already finished competing at the Games as part of the women's rowing eight team, left of her own accord after a 90-minute conversation with German officials. 'Miss Drygalla confirmed credibly her commitment to the Olympic Charter,' the head of Germany's committee Michael Vesper said. 'She is leaving the Olympic Village so as not to be a burden for the team.' Though German officials did not give the reason for her departure, the German public broadcaster ARD reported the 23-year-old former police officer was suspected of sympathizing with right-wing extremist ideology." (The Guardian, August 10, 2012) German rower leaves Olympics following 'Nazi boyfriend' allegations http://theneworder.org/news/2012/08/german-rower-leaves-olympics-following-'nazi-boyfriend'-allegations/ ( http://theneworder.org/news/2012/08/german-rower-leaves-olympics-following- ) But the fanaticism of political correctness doesn't end there. The thoroughly whipped and self-hating German political establishment is threatening to go even further. Reuters (August 12, 2012) reports: " Germany may force sports stars to make a commitment to Democracy, a ministry spokesman said on Tuesday, days after a national rower quit the Olympic village following reports that her boyfriend was a neo-Nazi. The case of Nadja Drygalla, whose partner has been a member of the far-right National Democratic Party (NPD), has ignited a debate in Germany about extremism in sport, although the rower denies holding far-right views herself. As part of a regular review of guidelines on sport funding, the Interior Ministry is considering insisting that top clubs and associations make a formal commitment to democratic values. 'This is a question that arose at the end of last year ... and we are considering it in our review,' a spokesman said. 'It is not in any way related to the Drygalla case. Right-wing extremism in German sport has been a concern for a long time.'" But, the NPD is a legal party legitimately contesting "democratic" elections in Germany. Where is the problem? Germany to demand 'Democracy' pledge following Olympic departure http://theneworder.org/news/2012/08/germany-to-demand-'democracy'-pledge-following-olympic-departure/ ( http://theneworder.org/news/2012/08/germany-to-demand- ) And, thanks to NPD candidate, translator and sometime German political prisoner Gunter Deckert, for this item 1936 Berlin Olympic Games: Opening Ceremonies(Video 6:09 min) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GePNydI9gX4 ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GePNydI9gX4 ) _____________________________ Unsubscribe / Change Profile: http://ymlp228.net/ugmjhqsqgsgbbqgbssgguewwmw Powered by YourMailingListProvider |
