You can read the original version online: http://ymlp280.net/zQ7akE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry, Jason, I Won't Be Able to Attend Your Calgary Stampede Breakfast Dear Jason: Thanks for the kind invitation to your stampede breakfast. Unfortunately,I'll be in Port Credit and won't be able to attend. Congratulations on some encouraging steps, as Immigration Minister, to deter criminals and illegals. Now comes the big step: halting ALL immigration until Canada returns to full employment. I urge you to resist the cries of the business lobby which simply wants a large supply of cheap labour to keep wages low.The taxpayers and the unemployed, Canadians and immigrants, pay the price. The retiring baby boomer and looming labour shortage arguments are hooey. There is NO labour shortage today. Why import people who will either fail and be frustrated (and a burden on Canada) or who will take the job of a Canadian and leave that person frustrated (and a burden on Canada)? I doubt you'd hire someone in June and put that person on your payroll for a snow clearing job on your property that might not materialize until November.
