I know that even people in the oil and gas industry who appear to be writing your agenda are unhappy. I am an industrial landlord and I hear constantly from my clients how they need workers - good, productive workers not the kind who are applying for their jobs - immigrants, often French, with little or no English, or third-world untrained, who have absolutely NO technical or industrial working skills whatsoever. They need welders, and linesmen on the pipeline and hands-on industrial workers - not people who want clean desk jobs with high pay, lots of time off, sick leave and plenty of perks. I have two daughters who have recently graduated with useless degrees in political science and human resources who already want those non-existent jobs. And they have plenty of friends too who would love those jobs. I have been paying taxes, big Alberta taxes, to fund the equalization payments to every other province and now, on top of this, you send a bunch of unemployable immigrants to this province to compete with our kids for the few white collar jobs around. Or, worse, for us to support because they cannot find jobs. If you think I am just blowing off steam and what I describe is not happening, Minister Kenney, I invite you to visit me. I will take you by the hand into the ghettos that you have created in our once wonderful city, of Somalian immigrants who we spend our tax dollars supporting and policing while they prey on our communities because they have no skills whatsoever to do the jobs we desperately need done. And they have no desire nor intention of doing. Why, when they can rely upon crime and welfare to get by? Then I will take you out to my industrial warehouses and let you talk to my tenants - welders, metal fabricators, steel construction contractors, who cannot find even one or two workers from among the French Guyanans and Congolese you send us. These are immigrants we NEVER asked for, because they have no clue nor desire to do the sort of hard, dirty, diligent, work these jobs required, regardless how much they are paid and they are paid very well, in the industries that pay the bills in this country. You have been getting by on talking big and taking on a tough guy posture for the media when it comes to immigration issues. In fact, sir, in my opinion and the opinion of many people I know who are finally waking up, you and your government's immigration policies have cost us all dearly, in more ways than one. You sell the song that you are serving the future employment needs for Canada's economic growth to all us "dumb" voters out here, while hiding the fact that we have extremely high rates of unemployment in that very immigrant community that was supposed to supply us with workers. I am not sure why you have encouraged such high rates of immigration from such unsuitable places but I can speculate. Your reasons are purely political. Instead of bringing people from English-speaking countries - Britain, Australia, even the US and Europe - you bring in French-speaking people. That way you can falsely increase the number of French first-language citizens so that it is easier for your government to rationalize all the French programming that it wastes billions on. As I say, I speculate but so do a lot of us. Please set me straight - I'd love to hear your "reasons" and how successful they have been. So, Minister Kenney, my question to you is this. When are you going to come around here to Alberta and talk to the people on the ground instead of the shirts in the boardrooms and find out how successful your immigration program has been in serving the needs of Albertans? And when are you going to stop trying to fool us that your immigration policies have been a success when in fact they have been a dismal failure? Please start telling us the truth instead of just a lot of political talk. Yours truly, Sharon Maclise _______________ Canadian Immigration Minister Jason Kenney {We don't think that headgear is a County Tipperary folk costume.} Dear Minister Kenney, I echo Ms. Maclise’s sentiments. You clearly don’t care a whit about the damage you are causing to Canada by letting in the wrong kind of immigrants. The trouble they will cause is just beginning; no changes you make to the Immigration Act can change that. As I’ve told you in the past, I know of many European, Australian and America people who would love to immigrate to Canada but are rejected. These people would work hard, OBEY OUR LAWS, pay taxes, speak English and be healthy. Their kids would play with ours instead of being taught to hate and kill us. Instead of bringing in good people to populate Canada as was done 70 years ago, you bring in people who are coming here to harm us, or you bring in people who speak French, a dying language that costs Canadians billions of dollars; a language that instead of being encouraged should be given a decent burial. Like Ms. Maclise, I will continually warn Canadians of the actions of your department which are destroying this country. The hatred people feel for the immigrants you are allowing into Canada is palpable. I promise you that if anyone I know is harmed by an immigrant, my reaction will be less than friendly. Everyone I know feels the same way. You and your government are causing feelings of hostility and disharmony which will only increase in the months and years to come. I will not vote for you in the next election and will instead spoil my ballot. There is no one in government who has the best interests of Canada or Canadians at heart. April 25, 2012. “The thousands of dollars I spent to fly back here, to take 10 days off work, to rent a car, to fund other expenses are down the drain,” an angry Brad Love told the monthly meeting of the Alternative Forum here tonight. Mr. Love had just learned that his appeal against a brutal 18 month sentence for breach of probation and a further three year political gag order had been postponed. The appeal was to be heard Monday. 1. “The system is sucking me dry,” the Alberta-based oil worker explained. “I was charged four years ago for breach of probation – for sending a package of critical commentary to four Jewish groups, who had given me their permission.” Mr. Love was then under parole conditions stemming from a 2003 conviction, under Canada’s notorious “hate law” (Sec. 319 of the Criminal Code) for writing non-violent letters to some 20 MPs and other public officials. He had received an 18-month jail sentence and Ontario Judge Hogg had imposed conditions under which he was forbidden to write to “anybody” without their express permission. [Those conditions, incidentally, were imposed in Ontario, not in the Congo or Burma.] ( https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=171780739654841&set=pcb.171781172988131&type=1&relevant_count=2 ) ( https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=171780942988154&set=pcb.171781172988131&type=1&relevant_count=1 ) ( https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=171780942988154&set=pcb.171781172988131&type=1&relevant_count=1 ) “The average black crack dealer would get legal aid for free, spend 20 minutes in court and get maybe 60 days in prison,” Mr. Love charged. This marks at least a dozen trips back to Ontario for this simple breach of probation charge. “I was abandoned by my pervious lawyer as soon as I was sentenced to prison, last July,” Mr. Love recounted.” After six weeks his new lawyer effected his release. “I am still working at Fort McMurray. All I make now seems to go to my lawyer. I wrote these letters These were my opinions. Let the cards fall where they may. Growing up, I was told by my parents: ‘If you don’t like something, speak up. The politicians work for you,’” he recalled. Well, “the ;politicians waste billions of dollars on foreign aid, aid to Haiti, aid to Mali – I don’t even know where Mali is, training Costa Rica’s police force. I am 54 years old. I work 84 hours a week and the government takes half. I don’t pay taxes; they take them from me,” he charged. Africa, he argued, “produces children faster than we can print foreign aid money. It seems every time I write about immigration, it’s eight White cops who arrest me, not Blacks,. I hate my own government, not Blacks.” Canada’s business and political establishment “want cheap labour. Every immigrant they bring in means a wage cut. A Somali cab driver in Fort Mac said he came from Toronto to Fort Mac ‘because there are too many fucking immigrants in Toronto for me to make any money.’” Mr. Love is an impassioned and highly entertaining speaker. “I hear to the developing world,” he said. “What ‘developing’? Africa has been there for 100,000 years. They should be sending us money.” He predicts that the trend of bringing in cheap foreign labour – despite high unemployment in Canada – will continue in Fort McMurray. Wages will go down and the good times will be gone.” Mr. Love seems to be a special target of Ontario’s police. “My lawyer told me: ‘You’re on the police radar. Any contact with the police, contact us.’” On Tuesday, on a noon visit to the liquor store in Mississauga’s Applewood Mall, Mt. Love saw he was being surveilled by a police cruiser. He was questioned and asked had he been drinking. [No.] His ID was carefully scrutinized and he was asked where he was staying. “Everything in this country is a joke, just a fumblebutt system,” Mr. Love said. “the police want an incident, to provoke me to react so that they can seize the bail my parents help put up. “This was the day after cops arrested two black bank robbers who jumped a counter and shot two people and some other blacks who robbed people on the subway.” Despite this real crime, “they still have time to watch Brad Love, who is not even from this province.” Despite efforts by Mr. Love and CAFÉ, the Canadian media seems studiously uninterested in Mr. Love’s battering and gagging by the courts. Discussing these costly and prolonged proceedings, Mr. Love noted that no lawyer or judge has ever asked: “Brad, how are you coping?” Some years ago, he recalled, he wrote letters to the Minister of Immigration critical of Haitians. “Four cops showed up and told me: ‘We don’t like the tone of your letters.” “With what they’ve spent persecuting me they could have built a large home for seniors and done something for this country,” he said. Still, Brad Love is a happy warrior: “I am still smiling. I go to work every day. I drink my beer. I snub the government and look at this country as a joke. Sodomy is legal. Gay marriage is legal,” but free speech is illegal.” “People know I’m right, but they are afraid. They say: ‘I don’t want to be you, Brad.’ People fear losing their house, their bank account, their job. If you’re a dissident, there’s no safety net for you. The government wants to see you broke and living in a ditch.” “It’s hard to believe in my own country,” he added. The decade-long persecution has affected my friends and my family,” he added. “I am not a skinhead, I am not a neo-Nazi. I am not a racist. But I do not like what the government is doing with my money.” – Paul Fromm _____________________________ Unsubscribe / Change Profile: http://ymlp256.net/ugmjhqsqgsgbbqgwwugguewwmw Powered by YourMailingListProvider |
Immigration Reform Needed Now! |

If you're seeing this version, your email program prefers plain text emails. You can read the original version online: http://ymlp331.net/z9uAXN -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Immigration Reform Needed Now! HOME Immigration Watch Canada is an organization of Canadians who believe that immigration has to serve the interests of its own citizens. It cannot be turned into a social assistance / job-finding program for people from other countries. It should never be a social engineering experiment that is conducted on Canada’s mainstream population in order to make it a minority. ** But immigration has become those 2 things. Why? In particular, why has Canada’s 250,000 per year immigration intake remained in place for over 22 years? The answer is that all of Canada’s major political parties have adopted the attitude that they know what is best for Canadians and that Canadians do not have to be consulted when major decisions are made. These politicians imply that the primary purpose of immigration is to help people in other countries, whether this help is to protect them from persecution or from unemployment. These politicians claim that their position is morally superior, and that this is why they support current immigration policies. They have also pretended that these policies are in the interest of Canada. But, in reality, as most Canadians can see, the policies are intended solely to help each of the political parties get a share of the immigrant vote. This shameless immigration betrayal of Canada and the promotion of political party self-interest began in 1990 when one political party (the Progressive Conservatives) increased immigration levels to 250,000 per year. At the time they did this, they actually announced they were doing so in order to capture more of the immigrant vote. This may sound hard to believe because it is so brazen, but it is a fact. Since then, all other parties have adopted the same policy. All pretend that their actions are helping people in the rest of the world and that this immigration flood is literally and figuratively enriching Canadian society. The reality is that it has obviously been destructive and senseless . Canada’s 250,000 per year immigration intake since 1990 has been far too high. In fact, Canada’s intake is the highest per capita in the world. What are some examples of the destruction and senselessness? Our high intake has had major negative economic consequences for Canadians who are looking for work. In fact, it has forced many of Canada’s own unemployed to compete with immigrants for a limited number of jobs and it has impoverished many Canadians . Absurd as it may sound, some naive, employed Canadians have actually launched “Recognize Foreign Credentials”, “Cultural Diversity in the Workplace”, and “Hire An Immigrant” campaigns to give immigrants that Canada never needed a hiring advantage over unemployed Canadian-born. And they smugly believe they should be given awards for throwing their own fellow citizens under the bus. The destruction and senselessness these naive Canadians (as well as those with sinister intentions) have created has caused many Canadians (especially those in Canada’s larger centres) to become very angry. These Canadians feel that this social engineering project has raised “Diversity” to the level of a national goal. They feel this amounts to the country being ethnically cleansed and re-colonized. Finally, they see with their own eyes that Canada’s high intake has also turned many areas of the country into crowded, grid-locked, environmental disasters-in-progress. We repeat one basic question : Why Is Canada bringing in 250,000+ immigrants per year? Ottawa has never provided a logical answer to that question. In fact, it has pretended that current immigration is no different from past immigration. It has also withheld vital information or tried to deceive Canadians by making false claims about the benefits of immigration. We believe Canada should have some immigration, but that immigration levels should be reduced to about 50,000, that is, to about 20% of the current annual 250,000 intake. We advocate that the 50,000 intake level should be kept in place indefinitely to compensate for the immigration disaster that has occurred in the past 22 years. We also advocate a significant reduction to Canada’s Temporary Foreign Worker program which in 2011 allowed another 300,000+ non-Canadians to work in Canada. The 300,000+ consists of about 180,000 to 200,000 new workers who entered Canada plus another 100,000 to 120,000 who were already here. This program is being widely abused by employers and should probably be reduced to nearly zero. In any recession (this past one and others), it is madness for a country to be importing large numbers of immigrants as well as large numbers of Temporary Foreign Workers. In addition to a reduction of Canada’s immigration intake to 50,000 per year and a dramatic cut to Canada’s Temporary Foreign Worker program, we also call for major reform to many of Canada’s other immigration policies.
