In the pattern we have all come to recognize they are attempting to drag their western allies into yet another middle eastern conflict. The reason given by the United States this time, is that Syria has used chemical weapons on its own population. They describe this as a totally unacceptable. I am not condoning what has apparently happened in Syria, however, I think the United States should stay out of what is obviously a civil war. It should be pointed out that America itself has used chemicals against civilian populations. Phosphorous bombs were indiscriminately used time and time again against the German civilian population in WWII almost on a daily basis for over 4 years causing the deaths of thousands of innocent women and children and they used napalm in Vietnam against civilians. There was a horrific picture of a severely burned naked child running from her burning village which was widely published after the Vietnam war which most readers will remember and of course they used nuclear weapons against Japan. This use of the atomic bombs resulted in thousands of civilian deaths from radiation sickness. Although not strictly a weapon, there was the use of Agent Orange in Vietnam which resulted in severe medical problems and in some cases death of innocent civilians. In the Iraq war Depleted Uranium (DU) was used resulting in the poisoning of sections of the population, the water and also the soil. Naturally the USA does not admit to having used depleted uranium but there is no doubt that it was used. In addition to Iraqi civilians, some U.S. service personnel who participated in that war are also suffering health effects from the use of DU. This criticism by the United States of Syria is sheer hypocrisy. The Americans have never held back using any type of weapon which they believe gives them an advantage and they certainly do not respect the borders of other countries. The drone strikes that they launch against Pakistan is evidence of that. America has invaded more countries than any other since WWII. They see themselves as the caretakers of the world. I would seem that we have not learned from the “Weapons of Mass Destruction” issue where the world’s population was fed a bunch of lies to justify the invasion of Iraq. And yet, unless there is oil or other resources at stake, there is a very noticeable reluctance to get involved. The Rawandan genocide was largely overlooked – was that because there was no oil involved ? The culture and way of life in the middle east is far different from our western culture. Instead of trying to force our ‘democracy’ on other countries, particularly those where religion and politics are inseparable, we should learn to step back and let these nations be their own architects of their own destiny. Many of the situations in the middle east result from ‘western help’ The Israeli / Palestinian situation was created by the United Nations whose meddling caused the disruption of the Palestine nation. Nations with strict fundamental Islamic rule operate much differently from the manner in which the western countries operate. To most of us, we see their way of ruling as barbaric and lacking the most basic of human values. The middle east has been in a turmoil since the days of the Crusades and it is not about to change in our lifetime. Just try passing out Christian literature in Saudi Arabia and see what happens. As a young conscript and a member of the British Parachute Brigade, I took part in the British, French and Israeli conflict in Suez in 1956 which resulted in a humiliating withdrawal after the Russians threatened to become involved. The 56 years which have now passed help me to see very clearly what a waste of life that action was. The Americans who served in Vietnam must have come to the same conclusion. If there is ever to be a lasting peace in countries like Syria, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and Egypt, it will come as a result of the will of their own peoples. If we want this to happen, then we should learn to step back and let them find the answer to their own problems. We should also cease supporting any country with massive financial or military aid. The American support of Israel only serves to inflame an already highly volatile situation. Intervention in Syria by the U.S. and its allies will only result in an escalation of the problem and even more deaths. Surely there is a lesson to be learned from Iraq and Afghanistan. The opposition by the Russians and Chinese to any military action against Syria has been the only steady hand on the reigns. A recent poll taken by the Daily Mail in Great Britain indicates that 75% of responders are against any military involvement. It’s time to listen to the people. This problem is not worth one western life -- !William.A. WELL, THAT SITUATION HAS BEEN GRADUALLY ERODED AWAY AS IT HAS HERE IN CANADA AND ELSEWHERE AROUND THE WORLD THANKS TO THE MACHINATIONS OF THE ZIONIST JUGGERNAUT THAT IS CURRENTLY STEAMROLLING ITSELF OVER THE FUNDAMENTAL, GOD-GIVEN RIGHT OF ALL HUMAN BEINGS TO SPEAK THEIR MINDS WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR INDIVIDUAL INTERPRETATION OF WHAT IS TRUTH AND WHAT IS FALSEHOOD OR DECEPTION. You can read the original version online: http://ymlp325.net/zYVfKd -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MOVING TO MEXICO Dear Mr. President: I'm planning to move my family and extended family into Mexico for my health, and I would like to ask you to assist me. We're planning to simply walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico , and we'll need your help to make a few arrangements. We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Calderon, that I'm on my way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following: 1. Free medical care for my entire family. 2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not. 3. Please print all Mexican government forms in English. 4. I want my grandkids to be taught Spanish by English-speaking (bi-lingual) teachers. 5. Tell their schools they need to include classes on American culture and history. 6. I want my grandkids to see the American flag on one of the flag poles at their school. 7. Please plan to feed my grandkids at school for both breakfast and lunch. 8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services. 9. I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico but I don't plan to purchase car insurance, and I probably won't make any special effort to learn local traffic laws. 10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from their president to leave me alone, please be sure that every patrol car has at least one English-speaking officer. 11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put U. S. flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals. 12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, or have any labor or tax laws enforced on any business I may start. 13. Please have the president tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice and never say critical things about me or my family, or about the strain we might place on their economy. 14. I want to receive free food stamps. 15. Naturally, I'll expect free rent subsidies. 16. I'll need Income tax credits so although I don't pay Mexican Taxes, I'll receive money from the government. 17. Please arrange it so that the Mexican Gov't pays $4,500 to help me buy a new car. 18. Oh yes, I almost forgot, please enroll me free into the Mexican Social Security program so that I'll get a monthly income in retirement. I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all his people who walk over to the U.S. from Mexico . I am sure that President Calderon won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely. Thank you so much for your kind help. You're the man!!! _____________________________ Unsubscribe / Change Profile: http://ymlp325.net/ugmjhqsqgsgbbqgymbgguewwmw Powered by YourMailingListProvider |
